If you cat or dog has matted fur try this tip from one of our "Pet Patrollers" and pet groomers, Rosanna. Sprinkle cornstarch over the matted area. Next, starting at the ends of the fur and working inward, use your fingers to divide the mat in half, then into quarters, eighths and so on using more cornstarch as needed.

Cornstarch also works on white fur keeping the fur clean looking by touch ups - just sprinklesome on your hand then on the area that may be dirty or "gunky" it works the dirt and gunk out as well.
